"I drank a bottle of Geritol" Hahahahaaaaaa! Try some Ensure next time and see what you create. cool

I gotta say that some sections sound like a soundtrack to a 70s film. All sounds good though. I especially like your guitar work on this.

Man, I (Bud) haven't thought of Geritol in years ... I worked as a kid in my uncle's grocery store in the 50's and well remember the "old folks" buying it! smile Time to give it a go I reckon.

Great Funk Mario. You always do that genre so well and your instrumental performances are standout.

The mix sounds excellent on our monitors. So clean and open ... a fine soundstage.

You have one of those 70's funk artists' outfits? Some huge bell bottoms and glasses?

Enjoyed it!

J&B

PS Nah, just the right amount of cow bell smile

Thanx so much for this kind review.

I had that outfit as well as a leisure suit! But alas they all shrunk so I can't wear them any more. Damn washing machine wink

Hey Mario ...

If people our age bust a move, we'll probably bust a hip!

When I was a kid (late 40s ands early 50s - yes, I can remember when Harry Truman was President), I was anemic and had to take Geritol every day for several years. Now I just take a nap. A whole lot like Penzoil 10W30!

Cool song! The bass sells it. Ya did good, my friend. Well, actually, ya did great!

Alan

'I drank a bottle of Geritol then had a couple of cups of coffee and came up with this little ditty....
haha!!
Whatever it takes to get you movin' man!

I could listen to this stuff all day Mario! This is one of my favorites of yours! Whoever played the bass has blisters on his fingers!

Thanks, Torrey

Thanx so much Alan. Today me busting a move is doing a slow waltz and not stepping on the wife's foot!

Thanx Torrey. As I have previously stated that bass track is straight from the BiaB style and the only thing I changed was the ending. I know some do not like MIDI but there are a lot of gems in those styles.

Thanx so much Brad. That wah was my X-15 programmable expression pedal activating an Amplitube 5 wah-wah.

I like the song and its vibe, very cool.
Personally I'd bring up the sax a bit more, in my opinion the sax and the bass "make" this song so they should be about equally loud.

Cool groove Mario. Loved the wah on the right. Very cool with the bass tripping along. Guitar solo was excellent. Well done...
