"The song has what I like to call an indigenous "relaxed energy". I tried to capture the exotic culture of the islands, the carefree ambience, plus the excitement of the numerous fiestas and carnivals." Yes a very relaxed piece of music that did capture all that you said. Super instrumentation and mix. To nitpick the only things missing where a fruity rum drink in my hand and some steel drums  . I loved it as it is - great work. Hey Mario ... Thanks for affirming I accomplished what I was striving for. I'll fax you the rum drink - hope it doesn't mess up your fax machine! I initially had some steel drums but took them out as, even in small doses, they seemed to steal away the other genre influences. Many thanks for the kind words. Take care! Alan

Ah, two of my favorite popsicles. MAN, THIS IS SO GOOD, aL.. i WANT A WHOLE ALBUM OF THIS STUFF. (SORRY my caps lock stuck) Man, you sound so good in the city, in the country and on the islands. This is another very good example how to create interesting and original music with BIAB. This one, like many of your songs, should be one that PG Music uses to sell BIAB. Very relaxing mood with nice chord progression. Instruments support the carefree island feeling very well.
