Since California allows recreational marijuana, I was curious about how the CHP felt about about it. Turns out you can still be cited for open carry (up to $100 fine), or it could be used a basis for suspicion of driving under the influence. But since there's no accepted test that chemicals, you'd also need to fail a sobriety test.

In any event, that's still something the CHP would frown on.
