Simple request - please extend MultiRiffs to drum tracks! It's by far the most useful addition to BiaB in the years I've been using it, but it's a little frustrating not to have the same control over the drum tracks.
Sorry if this has been requested already (I'd be surprised if it hasn't), but couldn't find anything on a search.
please see my past wishes in the wishes fora and includeing being able to load drum sounds into a sample player triggered..say in realband.

my songs....mixed for good earbuds...(fyi..my vocs on all songs..) https://soundcloud.com/alfsongs (90 songs created useing bb/rb) (lots of tips of mine in pg tips forum.)
Before I upgrade to 2023, can anyone confirm whether this feature has been added? Couldn't see it in the summary of new features, but hoping it's been snuck in...
It's not working in the floating Alt+F8 window, not sure if they will be adding that soon in a fix or it will be next year ? There is an F5 control to put a fill where you like or take one out.

Thanks for that - helpful response! But very disappointed that it's not been included in the new version.
It would be good to at least have a response from PG Music about this, because at the moment I can't see any reason why RealTracks can be partially regenerated but not RealDrums? Are they particularly different? They seem to be the same thing in essence.

I suspect this is due to the way the program has evolved over time, realdrums were introduced before realtracks and both features were developed independently.
But yes, I agree with the fact that, as much as possible, both should behave the same manner and share the same pickers and options. The fact that there are so many different track types (each one using different pickers, filters, options and features not because a design decision but because the way they have been introduced over time) is, IMO, one of the main reasons why people consider BIAB a difficult and counter-intuitive program.
So yes, +1 here (and yes, this has been asked before)
I hope the Drum Riffs and UserTrack riffs are put in before next year. If not here a few options:
In Realband you have more control but it takes so much longer, if it was made to work like Reaper it would be INSTANT. Zoom++
Having the sfz sample sets now for RealDrums this should work well: RealDrum Solos, Rolls If you just generate up DRUMSOLJ.STY export the midi drum file and import it to a Utility track in the Biab with RealDrums, set a section where you want a solo by enabling Playable Track then copy and paste the notes in from the midi drum solo that is on the Utility track, you can solo the Util track to find the riff you like.
You can use the RealTrack Edit Mode now to cut copy move resize, though you can't copy the section to a new track, if it had that then you could build up your drum track just how you like.
I made up one for Reaper that you could add a drum riff but the source tracks had riffs recorded in them
I don't know how you would do the multiriff drums as they just play patterns for different sections see text below of a drum style.
Disappointed to see this hasn't been included in the 2025 update. Can still only partially regenerate RealTracks, not RealDrums
It did get fixed in 2024 version but is only available from Realdrums in the multipicker. It sort of works but not great. I'm not bothering with 2025 but there's no mention of it being improved so it's probably done and forgotten with now.
You can use DRUMSOLJ.STY and Force Midi Drums, you can generate up a midi drum solo track in another instance of Biab with PlayableRealDrums enabled, play through to find the riffs or rolls you like then just highlight those bars on the Chord Sheet, now drag the Drum track at the top of BB to the MID Drop, when green drag and drop into the other instance of Biab choose the track and position and check "Merge with existing data". You can import any section from any midi file drums you may have. You can also use a VST like EZDrummer, just drag export the midi solos from Biab DRUMSOLJ.STY into EZDrummer users library. You can change the Sforzando VST in the PayableRealDrums track to EZDrummer and it will play the midi drums in the EZDrummer track where you have the green mute sections in the BB Piano Roll, if you want the same sample set as Sforzando then you need to use ElementVST to chain Sforzando with the same sample set it was using after EZDrummer and set EZDrummer to just send it's midi out to Sforzando. As we still can't chain VSTi in Biab VST Handling Fixes Needed
Thanks for the suggestions, folks. I do already have my workaround which is just to export a bunch of regens into my DAW and select the parts I like from different takes, but it would be so much faster for my workflow if I could just F8 it like I do with the RealTracks.
