Many users unfold, but don't take that as an indication that this is the only way to work effectively with the program. If you need to print a score it may be several pages long if you unfold, but only one or two pages if you use repeats. I rarely (if ever) unfold.

So, knowing the different options that are available, experiment and use what works best for you and best for each song.
