Alien Exploration

Your spacecraft circles the alien planet. Sensors show life forms but can not distinguish between humanoid or animal or friend or foe. You land your ship land in a remote area, put on your space suits, set your weapons to stun, and you and your crew trek toward the closest settlement. You have this eerie feeling that you are being watched. As you are slowly moving over the rocky terrain the audience watching this movie hears this background music. Note that I don't have the expertise or money to product the actual movie!

BiaB Style = Lilith 1 - Folky Pop Rock
Tempo = 56 BPM

Drums - Presonus - Impact xt - Electro ID - this track was modified and the percussion section was deleted
Bass - Synthmaster 2 - ARP Flubber
Piano - Kontakt - Kanaryi Analog Tales - BB Ten Gin Juno
The guitar track was copied two times:
Guitar 1 - Kontakt - Kanaryi Powerscape - MT Frozen Dreams A
Guitar 2 - Kontakt - Kanaryi Powerscape - MT Frozen Dreams B
Guitar 3 - UVI Workstation - Codex Stereo - Get Shorty
Strings - Synthmaster 2 - LED - Screamer 1 AZ
I am playing the lead via my MIDI keyboard controller
Ultra Analog VA3 - Crimson Touch

As always all comments are welcomed

My goal this weekend is to move just enough each day so that no one pokes me to see if I'm dead or not.

Wow, this was sure a sonic soundfest. There was just enough rhythm to it that perhaps you might've called it Alien Disco. I just finished watching Clockwork Orange on Netflix and in between the old Ludwig Van, this would've fit many scenes well. It must've been a lot of fun to put together and the results are indeed, stellar.

Wide spacial sound, lots of cool effects.

Works nicely, but just a touch long for my goldfish-long attention span.

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

For me there’s no better place in the band than to have one leg in the harmony world and the other in the percussive. Thank you Paul Tutmarc and Leo Fender.

Mario,
Cool track. Yep, suitable for sci-fi film. Nice synth work. When you get cash for that movie, I will gladly join you smile Thank you for sharing.

Nice work. Has a good soundtrack feel, and some clever arranging keeps it interesting throughout.

This humanoid thought you really had some cool effects in there, and I liked the way you used it all in stereo. As that great alien philosopher Mork, from Mork and Mindi would say - Nannoo Nannoo,

Hi MarioD,

The atmosphere created corresponds well to the description. The synth in the background with its back and forth reinforces this anxiety felt. Well done.

Mario.

sincerely your the 'master' of this genre.

i love the way you weave in various sonic pictures.

i felt i was in a spaceship going thru a distant galaxy.

(ps...fyi i once studied under some brilliant astrophysicists. was lots of fun. it was suggested at that time that the nearest intelligent alien planet was 12 trillion miles away if I remember. further it was suggested that we are the aliens 'petting zoo' lol. hence the sightings around earth. alien kid >> 'mummy can we go see the earthlings'..lol.)

kudos mario.

best/happiness.

Thanx Floyd but I think you are exaggerating a lot when it comes to the King of New Age.

Thanx so much om.

I do not think that we are the alien's petting zoo. I think we are the alien's penal colony!

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option

Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!

Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
