So here is a new track before I take off for Ocracoke. I may have a signal there and maybe not. I will *try* to stay in touch.  This is the last song for my next album, Whiskey Town, I think. It will be an alt-country album, which I will probably lead with Heartless. This will go in there somewhere.

That which has been already said. This is superb. Echoes of Springsteen, this time, but this is undoubtedly Snyder. You are an extraordinary and sincere as well as a genuine musician. I always look forward to hearing your songs, as you post them on here, and a big part of the reason for that is your rawness and sincerity, which communicates itself irresistibly to the listener. In short: hats off. BRAVO.

Yes David you are on a roll with each song better than the last song.
Outstanding backing band and backing choir!
Super vocal and lyrics.
A great mix!

Love the song and the arrangement, and the lyrics are very good!
My only nit are the vocals in the chorus, the backing track and the choir are almost overpowering it. I'd up your vox a dB or three there.

That was powerful, song and performance really carry some weight. At about 2:06, the choir starts to sound a bit loud to me. Not a big thing. Really enjoyed this, especially that vocal.

Anywhere anytime there's a new David Snyder song, there's guaranteed to be pure gold. Great song, strong message easy to relate to. Catchy as a good rock song should be, and so fresh that Gallagher brothers would envy. Super sounding powerful band and I really like the vocal production.

David...you are an exceptional lyricist and this is an example of that...I love the track...the vocal could be louder IMO...I too like the vocal backgrounds and the overall band...very cool style...it fits your lead vox so well...right in your wheelhouse...Loved it!

Funny. I played this song a couple time, and came back to see what I had to say about it because I wanted to say more, and realize I never said anything. Not like me, huh? What a wonderful song, David. So well crafted and produced. I really really like the build of desperation, Brilliant stuff, man. These lyrics are so good, and so relatable to so many. David, this is an excellent write! Man, you really have a good one here. As many have already said, it's very relatable and so captivating. Not just what you've said, but the way you've said it. This has got to be one of the best of any of your writing I've heard - and that's saying something. I thought the production was fantastic. It all fits together like a hand in a glove. Great job, what a way to conclude an album!

Great lyrics, David, especially that first verse. Very good as is, but I can also imagine it working well with a slightly more restrained vocal (your alt country voice ). Regards, Leon
