This is really interesting.
When you play the sample "there was no sound".
And yet I and others seem to hear it fine.

I'm wondering if this is an imagination/symbolism thing. I realize that the synth doesn't really sound like a true bear. Rather it is intended to evoke foreboding and doom.

Or I'm wondering if this is more of a sonic thing involving the frequency response of the speakers, headphones or earbuds you are using ?

Perplexing . . . some seem to hear it fine while others do not.
