I use Muse Score 3 and find the sound of the instruments superior to anything else I have tried. Being open source, which is a good thing, also brings along some stylistic variations in programming. Meaning: the occasional steep learning curve. I'm sticking with it. Crescendo is an ol reliable friend.
Still kind of new at this. I think what I'll try is putting the chords in a BB grid, then gradually turn down the bass while replacing it with chords played on the six string. That's an Appalachian thing, when the bass they had was a wash tub and a clothes line. We'll have to see. ( I kind of got eased into Praise & Worship )
