A buddy of mine purchased the latest Audiophile version of BIAB for MAC. He's is running Monterey OS. Question is when using the plugin in pro tools, we can't figure out how to change/edit the chord progression. For example copy/paste from.. to... or how to insert bars at ....

What version of Band-in-a-Box are you running? Is the main Band-in-a-Box program Activated, under the Help menu? As a simple test can you type in a chord name at all?

He is using band in a box 2022. I’ve suggested he make his edits/corrections in the stand alone program then reopen the saved song in the plug-in but we were wondering if these edits could be done quicker just in the plug in

Thanks for the feedback kevinTO! It is possible to edit the chord progression of a song directly in the plugin. You can simply enter the chords you want to change directly into the chord sheet area of the plugin. To copy/paste/insert bars you can right-click on the bar and select from the options available. To do this for multiple bars, simply highlight the bars and right-click on them to select from the same menu, the option that you are looking for. I have just tested and can confirm that these features are working so please report back if you are still having issues. Please note that keyboard shortcuts (like ctrl-c for copy) do not work in the plugin. Also, because the plugin is limited to 256 bars, inserting a bar actually just shifts all the following bars forward. So if you have 256 bars in your song, you will not be able to insert another bar.

If an Intel Mac, ignore this. If an Apple Silicon Mac, ProTools and BIAB must be run over Rosetta 2 since neither are Native.
