I very much like the Count-In feature. It allows everyone you collaborate with to prepare for the intro and to come in on the same beat.
Is there a way to get BiaB to display the bars in the count-in in the chord edit window? I normally use 2 bars in the count-in, so these 2 bars would not show any chords. Bar 3, the first bar of the intro would be the 1st bar showing any chords.
Background: When collaborating, we have 4 "entities" that need to be coordinated and communicated with so that everybody is on the same page: 1. BiaB 2. My chord sheet, usually MS Word 3. My human collaborator(s) 4. Our DAWS, in my case Studio One
Displaying bars 1 & 2 as "count-in bars" would be very useful.

When individual Band-in-a-Box tracks are exported as wave files the drums track has the count-in for the first two bars while the other exported track have no audio until after the count-in.
Maybe it's because I'm use to it but the visual audio on the drums track and lack of audio on the other tracks is pretty distinctive.

It's a reasonable request to make in the Wishlist forum, assuming someone else doesn't come forth with an existing solution.
As I'm sure you know from your Studio One mention, it is standard in all digital audio work to put a leader at the beginning of the file. It dates back to the days of magnetic tape. BIAB automatically adds two bars to exported MIDI and Music XML files, continuing this practice (in fact, it's sometimes annoying when they have to be removed). So, I would think showing the count-in on the chordsheet would be possible. If so, it should be a user-set option.

Yes, they help a lot...pre BIAB I used a drum machine to set the tempo & "count in" like a printed to tape metronome. Another thing that can help collaboration is common audio format...beyond the obvious I've found that, on occasion, an MP3 file may be shorter or longer than a .wav and the very small difference puts everything off. Having visual audio cue helps alleviate that. Having projects set up with the same BPM is clearly important...I collaborated with a fellow who didn't set Reaper to the requires tempo, he imported tracks added his own and mixed them...the results were different on an whole lot of levels: shorter, faster, more "exciting" etc BUT I couldn't use his parts in mine without very accurate time stretching etc...VERY frustrating.
