Another cool performance by Eleanor! (And BGVs by Solaria)

We enjoyed the backstory for the song creation as well as the song and the video.

All the work put into this audio and video certainly paid off.

It's easy to get sidetracked by the quality of the vocals but we found the write, arrangement and RT/RD choice to be excellent. We assume that by "re-amped" you are referring to generating the track Direct Input and applying your own amp sim? Something we do on occasion.

Well done you three!

Really well done, amazing what you have accomplished with the synth vocal! I need to learn about that technology one of these days.

Also quite impressed with the video, the way you managed to sync the singer with the vocal.

Great idea for a song, quite unique, and a good hook.

Enjoyed!

Keep it up, you're blazing a new trail in music and it's great to hear how it's progressing.

Thank you for your kind feedback, Bob.

I have no problem at all if you find problematic wording. I really appreciate any feedback because a) I'm not a native speaker and b) I still consider myself a beginner at writing song lyrics.

I guess "but can't remember" and "hero on white horse" are a bit incomplete, but whatever you find, I would be happy to learn from you (and everyone else).

Simply excellent synth-pop or whatever the genre. Love the vocals and the video does the job.
Well done.

Some variation in playing could add more interest, for example, held chords or instrument breaks. Very enjoyable song, reminds me of The Go-Go's.

Thank you, Janne, for your kind and constructive feedback.
I've never heard of the Go-Go's, but I'll certainly give them a listen.

B.D.Thomas,

Very cool and catchy song!
Amazing work with the vocal synths.
I was also surprised by the video.
The mouth movements match the lyrics perfectly.
I'm very interested in how this can be done.
Enjoyed my listen and watch a lot.

Best regards.

Great job Brian. Loved the guitars, and that was a really good write. This technology floors me, and you do it very well.

Subject matter is close to my roots. I grew on an island community near Charleston SC and spent much of my time hunting, fishing, and trapping and raising Raccoons. Many joyful memories.

Here's a photo from my younger days up a tree playing with one of my tame raccoons that you'll notice I have a dog collar and leash on her.

Yes, that's where you can find them!
What a great composition.
The vocal synths are amazing, you know how to work them.
The music is outstanding and a lovely video!
Very good job.

Thanks for listening and your feedback, David.

And, yes, it is very poppy. To get out of my comfort zone and learn new things, I decided for this year to write simple, catchy songs (mostly) with lyrics, all shorter than 3 minutes.

And, to be honest, I'm starting to enjoy it blush grin

Thanks for listening and your nice feedback, Torrey.

Learning how to do synthesized vocals isn't that hard. You're a singer, so you already know the hardest part, which is how to make vocals sound good and how to fit them into an arrangement.
The rest is just learning a new tool.

Thanks for your positive feedback Janice & Bud, glad you liked it smile

For re-amping I used to go to a friend's studio where they have vintage amps,
speakers and mics and stuff, but these days I do it less and less because the
amp simulations are really good and as an owner of Native Instruments "Komplete"
package I already have Guitar-Rig, so I just use that.

There are better (and more expensive) simulations available, but in the context of a mix, Guitar-Rig is more than good enough.

Thank you for taking the time to listen and respond, Shigeki Adachi.

The software I use for lip sync is iClone (see https://www.reallusion.com/iclone/).
It's a bit expensive, but it's great for animating 3D characters.
