When you say "wasn't very good at it", what exactly does that mean or rather, in what ways would it falter, if you prefer?

Frankly, at converting 32 bit VSTs to 64, it sucks big time, every which way I can think of. When 32Lives added VSTs, that worked—except that it couldn't convert JBridge wrappers but that was ok since it 32Lives could wrap the underlying libraries.

Using JBridge to convert 64bit VSTs for use in 32bit versions of BIAB, on the other hand, worked quite well. The developer sent me the upgrades I needed and didn't ask for another $14.

JBridge stopped working over High Sierra or Mojave, I forget which. 32Lives was fine until Catalina was released.

I have other 32bit wrappers such as EazyDraw Retro (converts MacDraw/Paint/ClarisWorks/AppleWorks graphics to 64 bit to be read by EazyDraw) that also fail in Catalina. No problem since I converted all of those from a Mojave boot drive that I keep to run Encore.
