olemon Expert Joined: Dec 2013 Posts: 971	I'm a gear junkie I suppose, so I have way too much stuff, but I've been using Sony MDR-7506 cans since I got into recording about 10 years ago now. They're lightweight and work well when I record vocals. I've replaced the pads at least twice. I also have a pair of Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro 250 ohm which are the cans I mostly use now for mixing/editing. For general listening, YouTube, iTunes, Soundcloud, the Showcase, I have a pair of AKG K240 Studio semi-open headphones connected to a laptop via a Roland Quad-Capture interface. I originally picked them up for a different perspective on my mixes thinking the semi-open would help avoid the pitfalls of closed back headphones where everything sounds wonderful, full and detailed, but that sort of fell by the wayside.
