It's probably because you have the Thru, Audio and Utility #1 tracks visible. I've noticed that once more tracks become visible, the display minimizes.
If you hide the tracks you aren't using, you'll probably get your display back the way you like.
Alternatively, try clicking on "Show Active, Hide Inactive" option in the Show/Hide Display list #2 on the image).
