Extended VacationAnother afternoon throw-together from last month. Has elements of samba, rhumba, cha-cha and fusion. Kind of a Latin Mash-up I guess you could say. It doesn't sound very much like the original style annotated below. Hope you might like it. Maybe a sip of a cold Corona or a margarita would set the mood? Very nice song with a great melody
The guitar solo is really good
Such a long good guitar solo in Biab is not so common

Hi Alan, Only 6:00 AM here, so too early for Corona or a Margarita for me, still working on my first coffee actually  I love this type of groove, cha-cha and rhumba especially are two types of rhythm that I spent quite a bit of time exploring back in the day. Really well done on all levels, I especially like the solo guitar.

Oh, I love this, Alan. Some fun stuff to play and I love all the Latin stuff mixed together. I remember being asked when starting high school what language I wanted to take. I jumped at Latin and was so disappointed it wasn't a music class. The second year I took French.
This is so much fun, and the changes really make it a smooth flow. So relaxing and simultaneously energetic. You added some many important pieces to the band, yet managed to keep them all heard without overwhelming. Very well done!!

Alan, You "throw together" better than anyone. Your instrumentals always "sound like a song" instead of "sounds like a jam". The guitar solo is ALWAYS well thought out...like someone actually playing over the backing track... (Although the ending sounds like it caught him by surprise ) Solid mix (always). A good listen. fj

For an afternoon "throw-together" this sounds pretty good! I've never had very good results quickly putting a track together, usually takes a few days experimenting! This sounds great with a real feel-good vibe! The mix is super also! I know when I hit play on your tunes, they are always going to be put together well!
