Ray, thanks for taking the time to write such a great and detailed review! Meant the world! Yes, there is no album like Berlin that I'm aware of. I didn't like it at first but man, did it grow on me.

I'm so jacked that you and others have mentioned this sounds like Bowie! Great to hear. I like that particular quatrain that you cited but I can see how it works from your angle. I will redo the vocal on this some day and maybe I'll change the lyric as well. We'll see.

Thanks for the review! I'm not a great musician or singer so I feel like I need to make up for it with that creativity you mentioned. Thanks for the tips on remixing the vox, I plan on doing that.

Thanks for such a great and detailed review! Yes, I should've given it a better ending and it would've been so easy to do. I don't know why I did what I did.
I thought that there had been a handful of Halloween songs on here in the four years I've been on, but I'm probably wrong. I am probably mixing things up with my old blues harmonica forum that is extinct now.

Well, first off that serene opening before the dark, brooding feel is perfect. The Bowie vibe is strong.
The loops are impressive. Drums are standout.
Your vocal sounds good and the transitions to spoken word work very well.
You sell yourself WAY too short regarding vocals.
This is a very interesting lyric and Janice said she’s going to read “The Vampire Lestat ” again after listening to this. Like Robert, we’re feeling kinda sorry for him.
