Thanks, I ended up shuffling the bits of the original first verse into the second half and tried to give each half something slightly different to say.

Honestly, I didn't do that much work - she's pretty much out of the box. Of course, it helped that this melody doesn't have a lot of dynamics.

It's sort of like that old joke: God invented time so everything wouldn't happen at once. A lot of the instruments have bit parts - they have one or two lines, and then they disappear.

Plus, the Trackspacer plugin does a nice job keeping tracks out of the vocal if they happen to be playing at the same time.
