Hi Al. It certainly floats along in a daydreaming way. I think the bass may be a trifle loud for the acoustic guitar but maybe that's just my ears.

Hi Alan,
Yes, you were in a creative mood the day you made this song! Nice chord progression in a very moody song. I liked that acoustic lead guitar a lot. So nice to listen to. The only thing I can think of, it was much to short. Only 2:44. I think 5 minutes were better...
I was amazed to read how quickly you made this song. And that you had the chord pattern already in your head! Very, very good.
Send my love to Di if possible, Hans Hi Hans ... Thank you very much for those nice comments. I, too, was pleasantly surprised with the "lead" guitar track. It was more than I could have hoped for. I try to keep my songs between 2:45 and 3:30, unless there's a reason not to. Very few of my songs involve more than 5 or 6 hours of work from start to finish. I just posted one on Soundcloud that took less than three hours to compose and finish. I'll be posting it here in a day or two. Again, many thanks! I'll pass on your nice comments to her. Alan

Alan,
A really nice listen. Excellent mix.
This has a James Taylor vibe. (That GroovinFolk RT does a great job of providing that...)
fj Hi Floyd ... I hadn't thought about the James Taylor vibe, but I think you're right. I would say early James Taylor perhaps mid to late 70s. And yeah, that RT is awesome! Thanks! Alan

Your vision, the choice of RT's and the mix all set the described mood most excellently.
The "lead" guitar was a great choice.
Well done RT Master!
J&B Howdy! RT Master - Ha! I wish. The tracks provide all the talent. I just play around with them and let them do their job. I kn ow ya'll live somewhere in north Georgia. I have a dear friend who lives in extreme NE Georgie - right on the SC line. She lives just outside of Hartwell. She's another author. No music talent other than a really good listener. Thanks for the nice words! Alan

I always enjoy your chord progressions, and this is no exception, lovely and original. And it's amazing how that rhythm guitar interprets the chords so well, like a real guitarist. The guitar is also mixed perfectly above the band, floats gently just like you wanted. The rest of the band supports beautifully that satisfaction mood. Comfortable and cozy are words that come to my mind while listening.
Janne \ Hi Janne ... I always smile when I see a comment from you. And thank you so much for those really nice comments! I appreciate them very much! Alan

Very nice mood you've created here Alan!!! You have such a way with these sweet instrumentals!! Take care. Greg Hi Greg ... Many thanks, my friend, for those supportive and kind words! Sorry for the tardy re[ly. Di had a major health crisis Tuesday and they just got her stablized day before yesterday (Friday). She's out of immediate danger and stable. But her health continues to denigrate. Anyway, thank you so much! Alan

Vic Hello Vic ... Than ks for the listen and nice comments. I tend to agree the bass could be dialed back a touch. If I go back to this for any other reason , I'll make that adjustment. Thanks for the feedback and input! Alan
