Greetings! Please can someone assist?
I have just received a Samsung 1TB 3.5" USB HDD as a gift
So I now have.........
1X 1TB USB
1X 500 GB Seagate HDD USB
1X 320 GB HP internal HDD
1X 160 GB Band in a box HDD witth 2010 on it
I run BIAB 2010 and Reaper 3.5 DAW on my system
Please advise how I can maximise performance by loading which programmes and songs on which disk

I have an HP computer and have used them for several years to my satisfaction
I find a good way is to load ALL the BIAB (except for those items which have to be registered on C drive) onto the internal HP USB (320 Gb) hard drive and make copies of all the RealTracks etc and your own arrangements to the Seagate or Samsung Ext HD - BIAB 2010 will still be on the BIAB external hard drive as a standby for safety
However if your computer is 2 x 250 Gb internal hard drives then put BIAB as above onto drive D as that will give you the best performance

Hi Plozie. Gotta ask. Why Reaper? You have Real Band with your BIAB and it is intergrated very closely with BIAB. I have been trying to get my head around Reaper as everyone is so high on it but when I compare it to PowerTracks Pro I don't see where I'm getting anything more useful. Now i admit I'm a little slow on the uptake on these programs and Reaper seems to work a lot different than other sequencers I'm used to. I've had PTP for years and am somewhat familiar with its concepts whereas I'm brand new to Reaper. Still, I'm wondering if there is any real reason to spend time learning a new system that doesn't seem to offer what I already have.
Sure would like to hear your comments on this and why you use Reaper and how it works into your use of BIAB.

Often Reaper, or some other program, is used for the better DXi and VSTi intergration.
Also, individuals find that different software often suits their needs better than PTPA or RB.

I'm blessed watching God do what He does best. I've had a few rough years, and I'm still not back to where I want to be, but I'm on the way and things are looking far better now than what they were!
