I saved a lead sheet after using the auto chord wizard, and I can't find where it saved it?

It should be named, if the song was named. Use your PC's search inquiry for the title.

I just tried it again. I used the feature of "save ++" to save multiple pages. It was named "hearts" and I saved it as a high quality JPG. But it does not give you the option of where to save it, when you push save. I used the search option and put in "hearts.jpg" and searched the entire computer... Nothing. What did I miss?

just search the title with windoze.

Normally it ends up in the same directory as the song, I think that's the default.

I certainly appreciate the responses, however, I can't find the "jpg" anywhere. I saved it twice, two different times. Perhaps someone could try to save a leadsheet with one of their songs, and tell me what I am missing. I appreciate the help, as always.

is it jpeg?

humans are fallible, computer do what you tell them. Have you tried saving the same file as hears1 and looking for the result?

I'm not sitting at the band in a box computer now and have no desire to go downstairs, feeling too weak. but .bmp? Why can't you recreate the jpg?

I adapted my workflow for stuff I want badly.

Start a folder. Work the song. Save it in increments. Adjust. Print. Play. Copy of the song goes in the 'set' folder. Then in the 'genre' folder.

Rock Music Set 1
Opening song.
2nd song. (f) for fast
3rd song. (f)
4th song. (f)
Fast song alternative (f)
Slow song alternative (s)
and so on.
Break Song ....outros...(thank the audience...

Hey guys it's been a lot of fun so far, and more to come..note my bass player isn't drunk yet....and on drums...another cat that lays down and mean beat, and will be right back...He want's me to tell you he drinks single malt...and I'm John, on keys..sliding out for quick minute..right back at you....

Now hide so there are no requests.....I'm not wanting to do Danny Boy tonight....

Hi Luv3rds,

Good to see you again

I tried saving music in JPG and it asked me which folder to write it too. I didn't have any hassle. (I have BIAB 2010.)

I don't use JPG for the sheet music. What I do is to use Bullzip pdf printer. I find this a terrific little program. Best of all, it's freeware and doesn't print a watermark on the documents it constructs. After installing Bullzip (if you choose to investigate it), simply "Print" the file and in the printer options dropdown dialogue, select "Bullzip PDF" as the printer. You'll then be asked to nominate a directory/folder. It takes around 20 seconds for the file to be assembled.

All the best,
Noel

Hi Noel;

Good to see you too. I finally re-surfaced after a challenging year. I sure did not get the folder option. Here's what I did:

1. Import audio into auto chord wizard.
2. After it was done, imported into BIAB
3. Pushed Print, then print preview
4. Gave me the option to "save ++" for multiple pages
5. Pushed save ++ and it was done, can't find it.

All I want to do is send a lead sheet to a friend as an attachment to an e-mail. I suppose I could print, scan, save to PDF and attach. I just thought it would be easier.

I will be working on some new songs this summer, now that I am "better" LOL More like "better off without you'

Gene,

It sounds like it might not have saved to jpg. I've sometimes found that occasionally programs go through the motion of doing stuff only to accomplish nothing. This might be what has happened in this instance. These days, when it's important, I always double-check that I have what I wanted before exiting the software.

Regards,
Noel

To avoid this extra work, a workaround would be to simply capture the the screen with the "Alt-Print Screen" key combination and then save those images using MS Paint or some similar program.

I don't print files unless using pdf.

I use Primo pdf which is free, and sets up as a printer under the printers and you get control from there.....works very well. Others have free .pdf printers, and they all work very well.
