Back to the Blues for this one, Christiane on vocal. Both audio and video links: Take That Ride (YouTube Video) Take That Ride (audio only) The Band:
3783:Piano, Acoustic, Rhythm NewOrleansGospel128 Sw 065 565:Guitar, Electric, Rhythm Blues Monday Sw 065 I used EZDrummer3 to build the drum track. Marty Straub from BabuMusic is on bass guitar, and I added a couple of additional rhythm guitar tracks and a lead guitar track (Fender strat for those that care about such things  ) Christiane (Chris) Spruit on vocal. Mixed in Reaper and mastered with Ozone. Take That Ride (2022, Chris Spruit)So many people trying,

A classic blues rock sound/feel/vibe made so by the parts the trio played.
The kick is a little clicky for my taste but the programming is good.
Nice touch with the delay/reverb blend on the vocal phrase ends.

Love the sound: vocals, guitar and mix. Solid blues, good message. The pedantic in me can't help but mention that the "eye of the storm" is the place in the storm where the winds are relatively calm - not howling. Good stuff!

Dave and Crew,
Very strong and timely released tune. Good message and Ace vocals by Christiane. I like how vocals are mixed in too. Marty A+ bass, fits like a glove. Amazing guitar solo! Good package all around. Neat video, especially the magnifying glass part. Two spins, easy listen. Enjoyed it and thank you for sharing.

Dave...that is such a pro sound! Blues with an Attitude...every aspect was superb...Chris's vocals are flawless...Marty is always top-notch and note perfect...your riffs and parts are always so tasteful and song-perfect and your tone is so cool and the band is tight! We couldn't ask for more but we do...

Thanks to anyone who mentioned the bass. Chris's voice is so special. What a great day when her and Dave got together for the first time, and there have been so many many great days since. I'm thrilled they picked me up along the way. This is the best ride I ever took.

Once again you have proved what a great blues trio you are! Everyone here is really hitting the mark! Dave, I always am inspired by your great playing! Be encouraged and know that I'm not the only one who recognizes your skills! Marty, you've done such an excellent job once again! I appreciate how you don't try to get too flashy (I know you could if you wanted to) with any of your lines and provide that solid bottom for Dave and Chris! Chris's vocals just cut through and reach the soul of the listener! She is such a great singer! I enjoyed it!
