My wishlist request is a for a utility program or wizard that guides a user through the process of moving the Band-in-a-Box program, RealBand program and associated content from one storage drive to another storage drive.. The utility program or wizard should have the following features: - User selects source drive letter. Source drive letter selection should default to primary or "C" drive letter with the capability to navigate to an alternate drive letter if needed.
- User can select one or more folders on source drive. Both "bb" and "RealBand" folders should be default selections.
- User can select one or more sub folders on source drive.
- User selects target drive letter.
- Optional a user can select a target drive folder.
- The user must confirm all choices. The user can change choices if needed.
- The program automates moving folders and sub folders from source drive to target drive.
- An enabled check box requires user to verify each selected folder and sub folder move.
- Program and Plugin settings are automatically updated with the new folder locations.
- The program generates a log of each final user selection, folder move and sub folder move.
- The program has check boxes that enable display and print log choices.
Background: Forum users constantly ask about moving the Band-in-a-Box and RealBand programs and associated content from their computer's primary storage drive to a secondary storage location.
