Hans, I listened to this a little while ago and thought for sure that I commented. I must have gotten distracted. This is really good! Dave’s guitar work is spot on as usual and I liked the impassioned vocal. The mix sounds great. Good job, I enjoyed it, Tom

The write, the choice of tracks, your vocal and Dave’s solo all are outstanding ... the complete package. The mix sounds great on our monitors and Janice said likewise on her AirPods. Aren’t you glad you revisited this 2018 song?  Good one! Actually an excellent one And you know we love the blues. J&B

Oh yeah Hans! This song has a great sound. You couldn't have gotten a better guitar picker for this song - it has Dave Bell written all over it. The mix is great and your vocals hit the mark sooo well. Great collab with the writing - and that back track to the song was terrific. Really good!

Hi TM, Ray and Scott, Thanks a lot for your posts or second posts. I'm very pleased with the nice words in them. Any time you add Dave's guitar to the brew, you've mixed a potent blues. Plus your good lyrics and singing are a treat. Nice job on this one, enjoyed it much! TM, yes when Dave came in, and the lyrics had some corrections, the song was far better than the title suggested...
The rework is grand...Mr Bell rings in the changes and chimes in perfectly.
No need for ambivalence mate, you wrote the thing & produced a cool song. The input of forum members merely added a little to help the already cool song achieve even more of its potential.
I know you prefer to post a "complete" work but you also know that I rarely do, as I value the input of forum ears.
Ray, those chimes had become a huge eyeopener for me. Didn't know al those years what I actually sang. But you, vic and Dave did a really good job and you are right. This help is also what the forum can be useful for! Thanks for that. Dave's guitar was a really filled the song out. Super vocal and lyric Hans. Backtrack had a really cool groove to it. Really well done.. Scott, very kind of you. but maybe both of you can play a duet on one of my next songs. Two leads playing along... That would be something, don't you think? Hi David, Ezekiel, Janne and Floyd, I found my song back on page 3. That means I am late with my replies. And that's true, but I had a cold too. And there was a soccer championship in Qatar, but we've been kicked out. So here I am. Thank you for your very kind words on the altered song. It's always the season for blues! It sound all good to me - vocals, guitar, lyrics... all of it!  Hi David, you're right, however, wintertime is even better for Blues. Dark times... Glad you liked it all! Excellent in al aspects. Hi Ezekiel, I have to respond with 'wow' for these compliments! And yes, I had to get used to his solo too... Enjoyable blues song with pleasant collaboration, every note Dave plays is pure blues magic. You and Blue Attitude are the best blues song producers on this forum, but please remind me if I forgot someone worth mentioning too Nice story with thorns and roses. Good selection of other instruments, the drums are nicely mixed. I like your laid-back vocal performance. I don't know what the original version sounded like, but this sounds great! This really reminds me of a slower version of the Stones "Miss You" for some reason! Adding Dave's part really makes this song take off! It sounds really good! Your vocals are excellent! You can't go wrong taking advice from Ray and Vic! They always are on top of their game! It's a super sounding track!

Yes, after all I was glad with the comments I got on the previous version. Well... a mixed feeling, but it tuned out excellent! And compared with the version from 2018, I'm surely glad I did it, with the help of the forum! The lyrics at that time were a bit strange.
