Welcome to the forum.

It sounds like one of the files may be corrupt. It could also be a problem with the cut and paste method using too much memory in the copy operation, though I've never seen this happen.

I assume you have BIAB version 2009, since the 2010 audiophile version requires a 1.5 TB drive.

I have successfully backed up most of my audiophile drive. I say "most" because I back up only the folders in the RealTracks folder that I will use. The original PG Music disk then is retired, and it becomes "the backup".

I use a utility called Total Commander, but if you would like to give it a try and do it manually, two Windows Explorer windows would work.

The only really large files are the RealTracks, and to a lesser extent, the RealDrums.

Select and copy everything in the /BB folder except the RealTracks and Real Drums folders.

Then copy the RealDrums folder over.

Create a RealTracks folder on the new drive. Then select and copy only some of the Real Tracks folders. This way, you will be working in manageable chunks. If there is a corrupt file, you can work around it.

If you are at all unsure of doing it this way, call Support for their advice.

Good luck.
