This is one that I didn't write, but I have full permission to record it, and make a track to it. This will be on my next CD Project. The light instrumentation works well with this song.
I enjoyed your heartfelt vocal.
I don't know who wrote this song, but I like the lyrics.

Sure glad to get you back Ronnie, and you picked a nice song to make your comeback. Nice writing on this - been there man. I really liked those cord changes too. There were a couple of spots where it sounded as though your voice was strained, but I don't know if a key change would make it easier, or maybe not modulating up near the end of the song. That happens to me a lot too. I sure liked that steel in the background through the song. Hope your leg is mending well.

Great lyrics and a super backing band
Great blend
I agree with Brad that "there were a couple of spots where it sounded as though your voice was strained".
This has a lot of potential and cleaning up a couple of spots would make it a diamond

Pretty progression! And of course, your vocals are always sincere and tuneful. Minor nit - at 2:36, sounds like the steel guitar isn't quite playing the same chords as the rest of the band. Solid song with a classic sound.

Ronnie...beautiful song...love the title and hook...you always build great gospel/country tracks with BiaB...the first verse reminds me of the melody of "Honey" by Bobby Goldsboro...gorgeous melody!
