In general I setup my DAW on ASIO but run BiaB on MME this seems to be the smoothest solution to all problems. That is how I have had my setup for years and I have never had a problem. BUT this will not work IF you are recording in BiaB as you will need ASIO drivers. I, and I'm assuming you as well as others with our system setups, do all of my recording in my DAW. I hope this gets fixed ASAP for those who record in BiaB.
I think my wife has started to show the first signs of dementia.

Band-in-a-Box 2026 Video: AI Stems & Notes - split polyphonic audio into instruments and transcribe
This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
