It would be good to at least have a response from PG Music about this, because at the moment I can't see any reason why RealTracks can be partially regenerated but not RealDrums? Are they particularly different? They seem to be the same thing in essence.


I suspect this is due to the way the program has evolved over time, realdrums were introduced before realtracks and both features were developed independently.

But yes, I agree with the fact that, as much as possible, both should behave the same manner and share the same pickers and options. The fact that there are so many different track types (each one using different pickers, filters, options and features not because a design decision but because the way they have been introduced over time) is, IMO, one of the main reasons why people consider BIAB a difficult and counter-intuitive program.

So yes, +1 here (and yes, this has been asked before)
