I've been using it for a couple of hours and I have learned to follow the timing .. I'm honestly not sure if the rhythm is correct at the cycle-change/turnaround and maybe it's just the clunky that was throwing me, but doesn't now. I do now think it's just the odd sound stop during the final bar that's throwing my timing. I think there's a tiny pause (on my old notepad), but it's generally pretty OK now I'm more used to it.
Jazz relative beginner, starting at a much older age than was helpful.
