Hi Ron,
What I'd try is to put the drums on two tracks. Then set one of those tracks to half-time. After that, I would organise each track's 'mute' and 'normal volume' to take the normal drums out of playback and bring the half-time drums in (and vice versa).
Note... if you are using Utility tracks, you will need to use the Audio Editor to volume-control the tracks. Otherwise, if you are using BIAB legacy tracks, Bar Settings will do the job for you.
