I too had regular occurences of BIAB and RealBand crashing under 64bit Windows 7 ("Home Premium" edition IIRC). By regular I mean approximately every 10-20 minutes. By "crashing" I mean the program locked up, a loud constant buzz came through the audio device, but there were no error messages. A reboot was necessary each time to reset to audio device. Task Manager showed a BIAB process that couldn't be killed.

I'm running BIAB/RB 2009.5. I have not applied any updates or patches. No VSTi or DXi synths - I use just BIAB/RB to generate audio that gets more treatment in other apps.

I have reverted to WinXP (32bit) and will probably wait for a Win7 service pack before I try again. .....and a 64-bit version of BIAB and RB ?????

I have since changed my audio card from a Line6 TonePort USB to an Audiophile 2496 so that might help. I doubt it was a driver problem though because the other audio programs I use - Reason & Record mostly - never crashed with either device. (Reason has never crashed on me in nearly 10 years of use).

For now BIAB behaves OK in WinXP 32. I'd like to try a 32-bit version of Win7 and see if the problem is a 32bit vs. 64bit issue, or a WinXP vs. Win7 issue.
