The current version of Biab has come a long way since I first purchased it back in 2009.
I have nagged about things over the years because I love Biab and have suggested so many ways to improve it to give frustration free creativity.
  • To be able to copy, edit and regenerate any section of a RealTrack without it turning into a wav file attached to the SGU is a massive step.
  • To be able to instantly create a midi block chord track for Virtual Instruments to follow improves the work flow incredibly. There are so many Virtual Instruments now that follow midi chord input.
  • To have Virtual Instruments of the RealTrack & RealDrums to add or edit any of the RealTrack or RealDrums notation allows you to create your own chords, articulations like Bends, vibrato, Hammer-Ons & Pull-Offs. Allows you to create your own Drum fills, endings, solo riffs etc..
  • Volume Automation for each track and now the Master track makes things so much easy and this is non destructive so no wav files created and attached to the SGU
  • The Alt+F8 Floating Re-Gen window is surely a miracle worker allowing you access the the Mixer, Chord Sheet giving you all the control you need to get what you want and frustration free, truly magical.
  • What Tobin is doing in this great video is all the things that I wanted to be able to do and have creative control over.

As much as I complain I think where Biab is now is magical, sure there is more that can be done but it has come a long way, so well done PG.
Sure some releases may not have the feature or fixes we ask for but you get a massive library of all the great content.
I would never put anyone off purchasing Biab as I highly recommend it.
Where on earth can you get so many world class session musicians to instantly play for you with a few clicks.
There IS nothing else like this, not on this planet anyway !
