I have just installed BB pro 2023 (Build 1006) and noticed that the total amount of styles to be less than expected.
Before the install there were 4712 Styles, now there are 4758. I was expecting more than 200 new styles with the 2023 pro version and more including the bonus ones.
Looking at the packages only the UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition, and the 2023 PlusPAK contain the new 222 Realtrack sets and styles. The Pro package is the entry-level package of BiaB. I know that is very confusing, as the Pro level in every other software package is the top of the line package.
If I am wrong about the styles please let me know.
My wife had her driving test today. She got 8 out of 10. The other 2 jumped out of the way!

Looks like you should have just updated the program only and saved yourself $10. I don't see anything more for the Pro 22-23 update versus the program only update. If this is correct, I would call and get my $10 back.

This new version upgrade gets me every time!
The 2023 Pro version upgrade popup screen states what we should be getting. The program only upgrade does not list anything on it.
The popup dialog does NOT state that this Upgrade option doesn't include any styles, quite the contrary, it mentions that it includes 750+ Midi Styles. It doesn't mention that if you have a previous version such as the EverythingPAK that is the equivalent to the new named UltraPAK+.
This makes impossible to consider what to purchase or upgrade to. So, did I got fooled to buying the wrong upgrade?
We need a Comparison screen WHITHIN BB that can actually check what the user has already and what would have if upgrades to the different version, listing the new contents BEFORE making the purchase, then there will be no hassle or confusion!

In reality I don't know what has been installed on my computer as there is no way of know what exactly should be installed.
Ha! The live chat ended with PG MUsic staff ignoring me and ending the conversation by making me wait and then closing the chat windows... Oh! That's very polite of them! NOT!
After seeing the link they provided me regarding the FREE Bonus PAK, it clarifies that, but it still does not clarify the missing 700+ styles mentioned on the Popup window nor I see the "whopping 80 new RealStyles!" from the FREE Bonus PAK. As I already mentioned, I have only 46 new styles been added since the upgrade.
I am now Re-Installing the new software, just to make sure all files have been installed correctly by the Installation Manager as some files where already shown as been downloaded previously.

That's not quite correct - the "Program only update" is just that, it's only the core Band-in-a-Box program - it doesn't include the "Pro RealCombos", any additional RealTracks, or the Bonus PAK. It also needs to be installed over an existing 2022 version. Of course you retain the content you have in your 2022 package, you just don't get any new content.
The "Pro" upgrade includes the Pro RealCombos and the bonus PAK. We typically enhance the Pro with each new version by adding material that was previously only available in the larger packages (e.g. UltraPAK).
Here are the exact number of additional styles (STY), RealTracks, RealDrums, and MIDI SuperTracks in the current Band-in-a-Box 2023 Pro w/ Bonus 0PAK, compared with earlier Band-in-a-Box Pro Versions. I used the Pro versions from 2020 through 2022 for this comparison, having no additional content/addons/bonus PAKs. If you have additional content from past years then your numbers would be different.
Just to be clear, as an example if you have the 2021 Pro and you upgrade to 2023 Pro, then you will get 153 RealTracks that you did not already have. We often include Drums in the RealTracks count. So you would get 153+74=227 total new RealTracks.

So you're basically saying that the reason I have only 46 new styles on my new BB pro 2023 is because I already had the missing Styles from owning the old EverythingPAK?
You can see why upgrading to a new versions is so confusing.
I'll never know what I actually get and pay for because I once purchased the larger PAK.
The simple solution it to create an internal file checker within BB and having the product selector from the website interrogate BB and listing the correct new content to gain from upgrading to that particular package.
