This song has a Merle Haggard vibe in the lyric and Janice said she immediately thought about how her Daddy would’ve liked it.
Good band and mix to go along with the passionate vocal too.

David...this is classic Americana country...great track and performance...the fiddle captured the grit and country heart of the song...Rachel certainly gave you rich soil to plant into with her lyrics...congratulation on a great collaboration!

I liked the story/narrative a lot, but most of all how it started.
And the song is just cool!
Somewhere in the back of my head I hoped that Rachel sang along with you in the chorusses. What a nice surprise that would be!
