Ich bin gerade vom BiaB 16 Ultra Plus auf Mega Pack 22 für Mac umgestiegen.
Ich mache hauptsächlich Musik im Stil von Sinatra und co und suche entsprechende Styles. Ich meine mich erinnnern zu können, dass es im Ultra Plus BigBand-Styles gab, die ich jetzt leider nicht finde.
Kann mir da vielleicht jemand helfen? Muss ich jetzt wieder alles Styles dazu kaufen? Habe schonmal ziemlich viel ausgegeben und brauchte dann nur wenige Styles.
Würde mich freuen, wenn da jemand was weiß.

Willkommen im Forum.
Für Band in a Box gibt es einige sehr schöne Big Band RealTracks (allerdings nicht in "großer" Big Band Besetzung, sondern in einer etwas kleineren mit neun Bläser*n, AltSax 1 und 2, Tenor Sax 1 und 2, BaritonSax und vier Trompeten, also leider keine Posaunen). Dazu sind einige RealStyles mit diesen RealTracks auch im Megapak enthalten, einige weitere im Ultrapak. Du findest diese Styles wenn du zum Beipiel im Suchfeld des Stylefinders "Crooner" eingibst (vorher am besten alle anderen Filter löschen).
Es gibt aktuell leider nur Crooner-Realstyles für 4/4, schön wäre es (das wurde auch schon bei PGMusic angeregt), würden auch mal einige 3/4 Crooner-RealStyles ergänzt werden.
Die Bläsersätze der Crooner-RealTracks sind auch mit MIDI-Notation ergänzt – allerdings leider nicht auf getrennten MIDI-Spuren, sondern alle Stimmen zusammen in einem Notensystem. Du kannst aber mit der aktuellen Band in a Box Version die Instrumente des Satzes auf einzelne Spuren aufteilen, verlierst dabei aber leider im Moment noch die MIDI-Notation.

Vielen Dank, das hat mir schon mal sehr geholfen.
Meiner Aufgabe, Opernarien in lässigen Swing zu verwandeln(Gesangslehrer können schonmal auf schräge Ideen kommen) bin ich einen Schritt näher gekommen.
Biab-Files in diesem Genre gibt es leider auch nicht häufig, also heißt es Akkorde erkennen und tippen.
Aber falls jemand weiß, wo es so etwas gibt, ich bin für alles dankbar.

Opernarien mit Big Band zu verswingen klingt erstmal spannend, falls du mal eine gut klingende Fassung gefunden hast, kannst du das Ergebnis ja mal hier vorstellen.

Es gibt 'Classical Fakebooks' - die enthalten ganze Opern-Arien zusammen mit den Akkorden . . .
Um welche Arien handelt es sich denn? Einige Arien werden bei BiaB mitgeliefert.

Ja, das ist ein spannendes Projekt.
Die Arien sind die Bildnisarie aus der Zauberflöte, aus Madame Butterfly Un bel di vedremo, Musettas Waltz aus La Boheme und Morgenlich leuchtend aus Den Meistersingern.
Ich wusste garnicht, das fertige Stücke mitgeliefert werden, wo finde ich die denn? Ich habe bisher nur Jazzstandarts für Saxophonbegleitung gebraucht, da sind die Akkorde ja rasch eingegeben. Deshalb habe ich mich nie in die Tiefen des Programms begeben. Finde es auch schwierig, da das Handbuch kompliziert klingt und ich nur wenig Englisch kann. Auf deutsch habe ich bisher nur wenige Tutorials gefunden.
