One of the other items you do not get via this method is any tags you have in the song. Those are dropped out also. Are you saying tags are not saved in a sgu or mgu file or are you referring to the text file method musocity suggested? Musocity's way is fine in many instances but may not be enough information in all instances. Posting the song file may not provide enough information in some instance. There are times when an audio file will help move a discussion forward. For this discussion the best way to present a sgu or mgu file to the forum is by storing the sgu or mgu file online and then post a link to the file in the discussion forum thread. Jim: On the sgu file I worked with that had a tag in it, using the textfile method that musocity suggested, when I pasted the text file into a blank new files screen, the tags were not there. I am sure that the tags would be there in an online file that was downloaded just fine.
