I didn't think I would have time to record and post another song this year, but after my wife got back from a vacation with our daughter I got inspired. So here it is - another Christmas song (Hang in there B.D. I know they annoy you, but just another couple of days and we'll be through the season - and at least there's no banjo in this one!) When I was a kid Pure Prairie League put out a couple of albums that I loved (Two Lane Highway & Taking the Stage.) I know it is dated, but I was shooting for that kind of a feel with this one. I'm certainly open to all ideas, critiques and comments, should you choose to give it a listen. Now I may have grown. I may have changed a bit, but there’s still something special on my Christmas list. Now some may think it’s strange, but it’s really just because all I want for Christmas is Mrs. Santa Claus. All I want for Christmas is Mrs. Santa Claus. ‘Cause she’s got spiked heel boots and a red hat made of felt, a tiny Christmas suit that makes the snow melt. Then steam comes from the water, it beats all you ever saw. They don’t come any hotter than Mrs. Santa Claus when she pulls up in her sleigh, says “What’s your Christmas wish?”, but I know if I say I’ll be on that naughty list. So is it really strange, can it really be so wrong For me to be in love with Mrs. Santa Claus? For me to be in love with Mrs. Santa Claus? Oh, Mrs. Santa Claus, she’s got me in her spell. Gets me thinking crazy thoughts that ring my jingle bells. She really turns me on, I don’t want nothin’ else. She’s so smoking hot. She’s everything I want. My only Christmas wish is for my pretty misses, Mrs. Santa Claus. Mrs. Santa Claus. Oh, Mrs. Santa Claus, she’s got me in her spell. Gets me thinking crazy thoughts that ring my jingle bells. So your wife has come back and inspired you to have fantasies about Mrs. Claus in boots with spiked heels ... ahem ...  I like your song and especially the lyrics. In my opinion, it's not a Christmas song at all (with jingle bells and all that), but a song about Christmas. I don't have a problem with that. Oh, and thanks for not using a banjo

Thanks for the listen all, I'm glad it brought a smile. Around my house, I'm Santa Claus, so I'm okay with this kind of inspiration coming from "my" Mrs. Santa Claus! Hope everyone had a great Christmas and I'm looking forward to another year of great music coming from you in this coming year!

Great song with some clever lines, I enjoyed it! I recall PPL well, I met Craig Fuller back when I was a record store manager in the seventies. Amie was their big song back then.
