I think that being the inverse of regeneration is a seriously big positive. Regeneration takes time, and the fewer measures needing to be regenerated, the better.

This seems intuitive, as if this is the way it always could have worked to be the most efficient. I wish I had this in the early days of RealTracks (2008) when you regenerated a song and made a sandwich while it finished.

Unless someone reveals a way to do this now (which I don’t think will happen), then post this request in the Wishlist.
