Sooner or later it was bound to happen. A company needs cash influx to stay in business.
I have the free version downloaded from late 2021, but never installed it. I'm still using Acronis.
I just bought a new computer, but haven't set it up yet. Too busy gigging (that's a good problem).
I wonder if it will still work on the new computer. If so, and if I like it, I'll go ahead and get the paid version.
If it doesn't, I'll download the trial version, but I've already got this one downloaded, so I'll try it first.
I have a 4 computer license for Acronis, if I don't like it, I'll transfer the license to the new computer. I bought Acronis after Norton Ghost went obsolete (Gave up the ghost?), and I've updated a couple of times.
But I suspect I'll like Macrium, as I hear nothing but good things about it.
