I agree it's not right. That's the problem.
I'm using the Standalone BIAB (DAW Plugin Standalone.exe). Reaper, nor FLS, nor any other DAW I use is involved.
Oh, that is news! I assumed we were talking about the BIAB-VST (VST3)! Nothing obvious to the uninformed.  Maybe now I will have a chance to help.  Let me take a look over there and see what is going on.
