I probably don't actually need a HP Amp. I probably don't need more than half of the gear in my home studio for that matter. My audio interface already has two quality HP outputs, but why let that deter my lust for more gear.
Anyway, I now own two HP Amps.
The first is a Samson QH4 which has been in its box in the closet for at least a year, but I recently used it to dial in the FOH mix from my old Peavey XR-560 Powered Mixer.
The one I record and mix with is an APHEX HEADPOD 4.
Fairly sure I bought both from Sweetwater.
