I have been trying to "auditize" (hearing equivalent of "visualize") some of these — reading and trying to imagine guitar chord sounds, the only way I can — and I think the collection would be useful to someone like me. Thanks, Billy.
Such a hard-liner, though! "All popular music makes use of a limited number of chord progressions which are constantly repeated"... doesn't sound like much of a fan, does he? =8^) This was 1958, and the publisher, with the funny old-fashioned name of NEW SOUNDS IN MODERN MUSIC, must have covered the new stuff elsewhere.
