This song is one of those bucket list performances for me. There was a time many years ago when Bob was telling my story as I was living it. I figured it was about time to finish this and put this to rest.

I last stopped working on this when I got ill with the virus back in September of 2022. This is now the first time recording any vocals since that time. I am afraid that the virus destroyed my throat and I fear the damage may be permanent.
That news is not as bad as it sounds, since I was never "a real singer" even before this. But some songs have to be sung. I have always taken comfort in the words of Florence Foster Jenkins who wrote; "People may say I can't sing, but no one can ever say I didn't sing.” So I have never been shy about singing.

While there is a lot of BIAB in this tune there also is a lot of what remains of me.
