re!

amicalement

That's very strange.

Do you hear the piano if you go to Options | MIDI Driver Setup, and de-select Use VSTi/DXi Synth?

Try closing BIAB, then delete the file MySetup.dk from the bb\Preferences folder. Then open BIAB again and see if that fixes it.

Hello Andrews!

a great thank you for your answer, answer that leads to another question, which I ask you at the end of this message

Yesteray, I had an intuition: in the "Options" menu,I saw this: "reset defaults".

I did. And since I did this reset, the problem seems to be fixed...

Here comes the question:

On the MIDI config window, it says: no MIDI input, no MIDI output

But on the right on this window, the box "VSTi/DXi Synth" is already checked,

and the box "direct MIDI through to MIDI driver" is also checked

So the question is: what did I do wrong, between the moment I used Biab for the first time, 3 days ago,

and the moment the problem with the Piano sound appeared? In other words, what can cause that problem?

I ask only to be certain to avoid doing the same error again in the future!

Anyway, I took note of your answer, which will certainly be useful to me one day or another!

Sometimes, I would like to be Hercule Poirot in order to understand the mysteries of this new version of Biab...

thanks again, and have a nice day!

I thought maybe the channels got messed up in Options | Preferences | Channels. But I don't know why that would happen. If it happens again, zip your Preferences folder and send it to us, and we can test it...
