Berntd, I suggest that you select Options > Return To Factory Settings as a starting point. I had difficulties recently especially with the style and it was resolved with the factory settings. I still don't understand why, and I haven't had to restore factory settings for many years. Try it and see if that makes a difference. Bass plays fine. Piano plays fine. BIAB2023. BIAB 2026, Studio Pro 8, Song Master Pro, Win11 Home. i7-9700K CPU, 32GB, ESI MAYA44eX, ZOOM UAC-2, Guitar Pro 8, Transcribe, (EZKeys2, EZD3, SD3, EZBass, EZMix3) Amateur: fiddle, guitar, vocal, beginner on bass.

The result is IDENTICAL. the bass does not play for this style. So the problem is 100% reproducible over here and it is not installation or machine specific. Band in a Box Latest: ULTRA 2020 (734) on Win 10 And: MEGA 2020 (720) on Windows 7

Maybe you have a corrupt file? or a version which was fixed at some time? I will have a look at that now. But, that 1338:Bass plays fine when I load it into any other style. Band in a Box Latest: ULTRA 2020 (734) on Win 10 And: MEGA 2020 (720) on Windows 7

You will see there are new versions just recently along with the old versions in my "historic" collection. Do you have the new versions?? Or hold it, perhaps I have two versions due to how I had to backup all the old files since I switched machines. So the two dates may be related to that and not actually two different versions. Sorry if I confuse the situration, but I am just trying to help... I can also see the 2 style files you likely downloaded from my link. I cannot duplicate the view layout you show but here is my equivalent: I did a search for the M_EZLISP. My files are all from 2013. Your demo file is larger than mine but the style file sizes are the same. Seeing that this is happening with two bass Realtracks on the Bass track, have you checked... 1) that the volume of the mixer is set to 90 for the Bass track 2) That the Bass track is enabled (Right click on the track \| select Track Settings \| double check that "enabled" is selected). --Noel MY SONGS...
