Is it possible you created the song files with older, 32 bit program and effects and currently are using the 64 bit program and effects?
If so, 32 bit RealBand and it's 32 bit effects still reside in the RealBand folder for just that reason. Thanks for weighing in Jim! I can imagine doing that very thing... but all of the songs in question have been started and developed completely in the latest 64 bit version of RB. Oddly enough, today some of the songs that didn't open with FX yesterday DID open with the effects I added yesterday after the program crash. Anything added before the crash, however, has had to be re-added.
