Nice work! Melodic and catchy.

Cool riser at 2:15. The arrangement does interesting thing that keep my attention, nice ebb and flow.

A touch too much reverb, but hey...

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

It seemed a little odd that the vocal leaned to the left.
It centres at about 1.40.
A little de-essing would be useful.
In keeping with the forum what style, what RTs etc did you use? What DAW & what VST etc?
These things interest folk.
You've a good voice.

Cheers

Yes, the first thing that strikes is your excellent vocal quality. Good melody. Ray mentioned the de-essing, but I'm used to that in my songs. wink The abrupt change at 1:40 is something I agree with. I really like the mandolin solo. The ride seems a bit overpowering. Such a good song. I like the way you build it.

Enjoy whatever happens!

I agree with Marty about how good the vocal work is on this lovely song...are you paraphrasing a Psalm?...I love the mandolin solo...your arrangement was cool...to be honest I did not like the ride cymbals...IMHO they should come down quite a bit in volume or be excluded...they are distracting to me(though I know we are supposed to praise Him with loud cymbals)...I love P&W music and this is gentle and flowing worship...Thanks for posting.

I second all the comments so far, but first I'd like to say I really like the song! The vocal and BGV's are done very well and pleasant to listen to. I thought there may have been a bit much reverb, but I almost always use to little, so take that with a grain of salt. I'd also be interested in what Biab tracks you used to get such a good sound. I didn't care for the cymbals personally, but I sure liked the message of the song. It reminds me of a particular Psalm, I've just forgotten which one at the moment. One thing I haven't seen mentioned yet is your video, which I thought was terrific. I'm anxious to hear more from you!

I like your song and the way you sing it, there are some nice melodies and you have a good voice.

The problems with the mixing/production have already been mentioned, nothing to add from my side.
