I have been a band in a box user for many years and versions, using mostly the basic arrangement functions, with some forays into features like the auto chord wizard and making use of lots of the various realtracks for the purpose of generating backing tracks for practice.
I recently discovered the artist performance tracks with vocals, and those seemed like an excellent tool for practicing fills in a band situation. After playing the track "Can't Get Hold Of You 85 blues fem F _LOWAVES.MGU", I can't figure out how the soloing resonator guitar is dropped in and out of the appropriate spots. First I assumed the F5 feature was used, but I see no signs of that. Then I recalled hearing about the "volume automation" feature, but after watching a tutorial video on how that gets used, I don't see any signs of that in the audio edit window.
I was wondering if someone could point me to what I'm missing here? I'm either in the wrong screens or modes or something, because I can see the notation and waveforms of the guitar 3 track that would normally be stomping all over the vocal.
