Thanks MusicStudent. I found what the problem was. At some point in the song, there was a 2/4 bar. I adjusted the bar for 2/4. I then adjusted the following bar for 4/4, since that was the continuation of the song. I guess for some reason, it didn't take the 4/4 at the following bar.
I went back and added the 4/4 to the bar that needed it, and the to some of the other bars in the song, just to make sure it read 4/4 and that it was no longer 2/4. so, that fixed it. Thanks for responding.
