OK, I tried the 5.1.4 and no utility tracks BUT... I noticed you said RTs and I am using Midi tracks. So I switched to a RT on the Utility Track and that worked as you say.
So the problem is MIDI! Damn, I think I knew that already but had just forgotten. With all the use-specific requirements - its not "all tracks are the same", going on 5 years, it is hard to keep up this app.
